ZarFiles outreach notice
You are reading this because you received a first-contact email from Firas Assaad, co-founder of ZarFiles (zarfiles.com). That email was a promotional message, sent once, to an organisation in Lebanon found through a Lebanese business directory and the organisation's own website. This page says what we hold about your organisation, for how long, and how to see, correct or delete it.
What we hold
We hold your company's published contact details, the public text of your website (which may include the names of people it lists), and an automated assessment of your business derived from that text.
Access and correction
Reply to see or correct what we hold; we answer within ten days, free.
Opt-out
Reply stop to firas.assaad@zarfiles.com and I will permanently stop contacting you and delete what I hold, keeping only a do-not-contact record — your address, your company's website domain and phone number — so this cannot happen again; free.
Retention
Otherwise we keep what we hold for this outreach only and delete it within 12 months of last contact, keeping only that do-not-contact record.
Two things outlive that deletion: an anonymous record of the send itself (segment, week, outcome) with no link to your organisation, and, where the directory is a public one, cached copies of the directory page that listed it.
No tracking
The email carries no open-tracking pixel and no tracking link. We read your reply, and our mail system tells us if delivery failed.
